The "You will lose all respect" messages spreading on Facebook are actually hoax videos. They do not actually exist. The viral messages are scam messages that were spread as a bait to make people answer surveys or submit their personal data. Scammers behind these Facebook scams earn whenever you answer those surveys or provide your personal details such as your name, email and birth date. The data you submit about yourself may also be used by spammers and phishers.

What to Do

1. Do not reshare the post. Don't be fooled by promises that tell you you will be able to view a controversial video after you reshare and repost the message on your wall.
