Police officer does good deed before he dies moments later

Warning: one of your friends on Facebook may be tagging you to view a supposed video of a good deed by a police officer.


Here's how the message appears:

The message is yet another clickjacking scam. Your friend who have tagged you likely did not intend to do so. This video scam is another attempt in luring facebook users to install a rogue browser plugin.

What To Do with This Video Scam

  1. Make sure to ignore, disapprove or untag yourself once one of your friends send you a link about this "Police officer does good deed".

  2. Do not view the video nor install anything that popups when you click the link. Malicious links in the social networking may lead you to compromise your account or your computer with rogue applications and even viruses and other malicious software.

  3. Report the message as spam. Go to the arrow or x mark beside the post and report the post as spam.FACEBOOK CLICKJACKING SCAM

  4. If you are the one who keeps tagging your friends or sending the spammy message, make sure to remove suspicious applications you have provided access to your account. This application may vary. Check the last app you have authorized to interact with your Facebook account befor you started sending out those spam.


Select the drop down arrow beside HOME. Go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Click the x mark beside the suspicious application that you think is causing your account to spam your friends.
