Free Twilight Vampire Contacts Scam

The final installment of the Twilight Saga movie series, the second part of Breaking Dawn will be released this month and scammers are already taking advantage of the Twilight fan base to set up Facebook pages with bogus offers.

A Twilight Facebook page, for example, with now over 35 thousand fans is offering bogus freebies: free Twilight Vampire contact lenses in different colors: golden, red and black. These, in exchange of liking and sharing the page.
“7 DAYS UNTIL BREAKING DAWN PART 2 IS OUT!,” the Facebook post reads. “To celebrate we’re giving away FREE Twilight Vampire contacts!”

The link for claiming the Twilight freebie, however, redirects to a phishing page that prompts you to enter your email, address and contact number. Be cautious of giving your personal details and contact information as scammers may use these to bombard you with more spam/scam.

How do you claim the free Twilight freebie you earned on Facebook?

Unfortunately, you won't receive any Twilight merchandise promised by bogus pages. Here's what you should do:
